Flag Officer Announcements Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Gary Roughead announced today the following assignments: Rear Admiral (lower half) David F. Baucom will be assigned as commander, Defense Logistics Agency troop support, Philadelphia, Pa. Baucom is currently serving as deputy assistant secretary of the Navy (acquisition and logistics management), Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Acquisition and Logistics Management), Washington, D.C. Rear Admiral (lower half) Bradley R. Gehrke, who has been selected for promotion to rear admiral, will be assigned as director for operations, Defense Intelligence Agency, Washington, D.C. Gehrke is currently serving as defense attaché China, Beijing, China. Rear Admiral (lower half) Margaret D. Klein, who has been selected for promotion to rear admiral, will be assigned as chief of staff, U.S. Cyber Command, Ft. Meade, Md. Klein is currently serving as commander, Expeditionary Strike Group Five/commander, Task Force 51/518, Manama, Bahrain. Rear Admiral Thomas P. Meek will be assigned as military executive, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Bethesda, Md. Meek is currently serving as commander, Navy Cyber Forces Command, Virginia Beach, Va. Rear Admiral (lower half) Robert L. Thomas Jr., who has been selected for promotion to rear admiral, will be assigned as vice director for operations, J3, Joint Staff, Washington, D.C. Thomas is currently serving as commander, Submarine Group Seven/commander, Task Force Seven Four/commander, Task Force Five Four, Yokosuka, Japan. Rear Admiral (lower half) Elizabeth L.
