E-Verify Self Check -- Great for Job Seekers

E-Verify Self Check, launched on March 21, is a free online service that allows individuals to easily check their own employment eligibility status. It is currently available to residents of Arizona, Colorado, District of Columbia, Idaho, Mississippi, and Virginia. More states will be added this year. USCIS Launches I-9 Central

I-9 Central is dedicated to making guidance for Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, more accessible and user-friendly. Form I-9 is the most-accessed form on USCIS.gov. Now I-9 Central provides one online location to keep employers and workers up to date with the information needed to properly complete Form I-9. Bookmark http://www.USCIS.gov/I-9Central.

Now In Spanish - E-Verify Web Pages! USCIS has posted the Spanish version of its E-Verify web pages. Please visit http://www.dhs.gov/e-verify-espanol to view important information for both employees and employers now available in Spanish. USCIS plans to expand the E-Verify Spanish web pages with additional sections on an ongoing basis. Visite http://www.dhs.gov/e-verify-espanol.


Request E-Verify Name and Logo Use, and the I E-Verify Seal

E-Verify now has an easier way to request the free use of the E-Verify® trademark, and the free issuance of the I E-VerifyTM Seal.




Questions and Answers

E-Verify has revised the Questions and Answers section of http://www.dhs.gov/E-Verify with new and updated information that is now organized for easy reference.


Form I-9 Rule Finalized

USCIS has published its final rule that adopts, without change, the April 2009 interim rule to improve the integrity of the Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. Learn more on the USCIS website.

Updated List of Federal Contractors Available

An updated list of federal contractors enrolled in E-Verify was posted in April 2011 and can be viewed online.
