City of Toronto to recognize Brookfield energy reduction initiatives

On Wednesday, September 8, the City of Toronto's Better Buildings Partnership (BBP) will recognize Brookfield Residential Services Ltd. for its energy reduction initiatives. Each of the 27 Brookfield site managers will be presented with a Certificate of Recognition signed by Mayor David Miller. These certificates recognize energy reduction initiatives undertaken with the assistance of BBP resources and funding made available by the Ontario Power Authority.

As a result of these energy reduction initiatives, Brookfield can expect over $738,016 in annualized energy cost savings and a reduction of approximately 7,533 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) annually. Brookfield Residential Services Ltd. is Canada’s largest condominium management company.
