Water Main Issue City of Tonawanda, Roads Closed

Main Street North / South Closed Detour is Broad Street to Seymour

During the noon hour, Tonawanda Police and Erie County Water Department could be seen closing a significant amount of Niagara Street due to a water main related issue.

Currently the Main Street Bridge (Renesance Bridge)  leading to Tonawanda is closed. Niagara Street in Tonawanda is closed from Delaware Avenue to River Road (Seymour Street in Tonawanda).

Motorists must use either the River Road Bridge or the Delaware Avenue Bridge.
